Subaru Steering Column Adjustment

At Dick Hannah Vancouver Auto Body Shop, we are a certified Subaru collision facility. Part of being certified with Subaru is examining the steering column after the vehicle has been in an accident or a collision. We measure the steering column using a tram gauge to determine if they are within manufacture specification. Subaru allows a 1.5mm of tolerance. These columns can easily be misaligned upon collision or impact. Collapsed steering columns will need to be replaced and at Dick Hannah Vancouver Auto Body Shop, this is one of the extra steps we take to assure proper repair of your Subaru vehicle.
